What to write to us about

• A factual error. Something in a guide that is wrong, out of date, or true in one region but stated as if it were universal.
• A date error. The dates here are computed and cross-checked. If you find one that is wrong, we want to know — and if we correct it, we will say so on the page.
• An illustration problem. An image that is misleading, in poor taste, or that contains something it should not.
• Accessibility. Something that is hard to read, hard to use with a screen reader, or that breaks on a narrow screen or at high zoom.
• Collaboration. Using this material, or asking about it.

What we cannot do

We are a small, independent site. We cannot advise on your family's own customs, recommend where to travel or what to book, or give legal or professional advice. For how a particular household marks a festival, the best source is that household.

What makes a correction useful

Errata are most useful when they are specific: which page, which line, what it says, and what it should say. A source — an official calendar, a published almanac — helps a great deal.
